The Importance Of Your Email List

 Your online email list just as your customers in the brick and mortar store is the backbone of your business and we marketers better not forget that. Without our customers our business is nothing.

I am reading  a neat article today posted by Aweber on the topic of email permissions and how so many companies do not seem to get it when it comes to when someone wants off that company or persons list. They keep bombarding the subscriber constantly with emails even after that subscriber has unsubscribed to that list.

This very thing has happened to me so many times now that I am reporting that email as spam and that probably  will not be good for the reputation of that business . It is unfortunate that these people will not respect the subscribers unsubscribe wishes as that business may want that subscriber back again someday.Because of these blatant actions that business owner may never get that person to buy from them again.

There is big money to be made on the internet if done properly and with great emphasis spent on learning how to respect your list. When dealing with your subscriber list it is off the utmost importance that you the marketer respect the email permissions of that subscriber and if he/she wants out of your list then that what you do is "Take Them Off Your List"

It is also very important that you have an autoresponder company that is set up to take fast and decisive action to subscribers requests as there is nothing more frustrating to see then the same material coming into your email day after after day when you have requested to be taken off that companies subscriber list. This will ruin your reputation quickly and is very hard to get back.

Just remember there is a snowball effect in the online business world and when you do wright by your customer that customer also has friends who will most likely recommend you to them for taken such fast action to that subscribers wishes. Now that action will give you an excellent chance of getting your customer back and getting added subscribers to boot however not abiding by these wishes, you will loose many good prospects possible profits for yourself.
