The internet today is full of many programs that you can download for free and from what I have learned from Microsoft these programs can get your computer into a lot of trouble especially with some of the freeware versions on the net.

From the Microsoft Video you will be shocked to learn at just how easily your computer can be taken over by hackers or anyone for that fact. I see so many of these programs that anyone can purchase were a person can spy on your web activity to outright taking full control without you even knowing that anyone is controlling your unit.

So Many Scrips,Codes and Freeware Out There

Any freeware program can have scrips and codes that can completely destroy the windows environment and cost you a big bill to boot.Any person with malicious intent can put passwords into your computer and act as they are one of the administrators and do whatever they want with your computer system plus never leave a trace that they are even there.

So Just What Is a Rootkit Anyway.

A Rootkit is a pest to say the least which is next to impossible to get rid of. The Microsoft company is warning you to be aware of these Rootkits as they can monitor your every move on your computer system and can collect your important banking information.Microsoft also states that these software programs will only get more and more sophisticated and will cause us computer owners a lot of misery. Some of the names of these Rootkits to be on the lookout for are Hacker Defender fu and Vanquish.

The Kernel Is The Beast Of Them All

The Kernel Rootkit is the most disturbing of them all as it can be put into the kernel component of your computer which can render the computer system useless. Computers are such a great invention and it would be great if we had software to protect our computers from such attacks but there is not and if anyone is offering you such a product to protect your computer from the Rootkit then these people are just trying to sell you snake oil.
